Here is a higher resolution image, slightly compressed and not at full size; but the gallery only allows a max. of 2 MiB per image. *sigh*
Anyway, here it is in more detail.
Can you spot the whole and complete title in the image?
Can you spot the little visitors?
The original consists of a lot of nodes, which translates to roughly 50600 mouse clicks. Minus a couple that I did with the tablet.
(I haven't counted the number of colours and gradients.)
E.g. the Leetah figure alone at the "Ekuar scores at the beach" scene consists of ~3700 nodes (incl. the little castle of sand and the serving plate + glasses). Ekuar being pulled through the clouds by Rayek is ~6900 nodes.
So I guess "working hard" kinda fits.
I had way too many silly ideas, even left 2 or 3 scenes out (e.g. one with Chot, one with Leetah and one with Trolls); though I hope that the flight path connects the scenes and tells a little story and also connects some characters form the EQ realm that might have some kind of relation to Ekuar, persons he met, elves he had an influence on or that may even have influenced him - or people that have something in common with him (the shapers).
At the end he rests in a comfy chair and Leetah serves drinks... ain't that a happy end for him? And who else could be running a dreamberry juice shop there than Pike?
(Maybe I wanted to see if I can draw other characters than Rayek, too.
)
There also was a "day" version, but I decided that a "night" background would give a better contrast. And I messed up his finger. :p
