Crayon Ekuar - 2017

Something I did on the side as I was doing the calendar stuff, kinda creepy looking Ekuar! well, it's pretty hard to use cheap crayons... but these ones at least had some pigment in them! I've used ones that are so see-through that they are pointless...

His eyes are a bit more droopy than they should! also I thing I noticed while I was doing the calendar, Ekuar has different eye color in some of the comics, sometimes he has light blue and other times brown...

I do like the crayon style. It looks alive and like in a move. Oh, the eye color I noticed that too. I choose the color he has in the original I was inspired from. |

Yep, also was confused by his changing eye color. I stuck with brown because he looks so warm with brown eyes.

I used blue for his eyes in the calendar because that was what he looked like during the time we first saw him... but here I used brown because the blues were too striking in the crayon set!...
And he does look like he is drunk, and happy about it!... |
