Illo for "Undecided"

An illustration for Whitney's story "Undecided", featuring my char Blacksnake (sitting) and her char Farscout (standing). (I believe the story is posted here in the forums.)
Some things I like about this; some things I don't. Some things I think worked (I like the trees in the background), some were experimental and I feel "ehn" about (the "rain" effects, which was done after scanning, in Photoshop; also, I gotta learn better ways to do things like branches and tree-trunks). And, you know, the figures are okay but already I feel like the faces could be better (esp. Farscout's; meh!).
But, no time! Gotta move on!
All Copic markers, except for the rain effects in PS.)

The background is absolutely wonderful! I must say, I like the character's expression. I think Farscout's worried-caring look works very well.
