Foxtail and foxes

Done as a present for Foxtail's owner Angie. I may do more portraits in this style (my original idea was to do Raven with ravens in the background; then I adapted the idea for Foxtail and Notch). Absolutely, looked at lots of refs of foxes in order to do the animal portraits here.

I love this set, it's a great idea to portray them like this.
It really has a background feeling too, not as if those foxes are actually there, but more like... in her mind or something.  I think it has to do with the line thickness you've used, makes Foxtail herself really present. Though it might've been even stronger if she was breaking out of the frame (with her right arm showing as well). |

And foxes are just lovely animals. So well drawn and how wonderful to have Foxtail's clothes provide the perfect contrast/complimetary Colors.
