I got to admit that I really liked the Tyldak/Dewshine recognition thing. Liked that in the end Tyldak looked more beautiful to Dewshine than Dewshine to Tyldak... and it was not outer appearance that repelled Dewshine. Nice storytelling, that was! I think you captured their reconciliation and the gentleness that was found there so well. Very, very nice subdued colors, perfect for Blue Mountain.

Thank you, Treefox.
...glad that you have perceived the mood which I tried to mirror there. |

I think the coloring is perfect for a secret hideaway in Blue Mountain as well. Very moody and sets the tone. I think it looks just as good in thumbnail as it does enlarged, which is rare; you usually lose so much detail when you do that. Your drawing of Tyldak is just perfect, right down to the skinny limbs (curse those High One physiques!). Dewshine looks a bit too tall and by comparison, and I miss the curly hair. Then again, maybe she has been sweating in anticipation...?

I really like the way you painted Dewshine's skin, it has a nice ethereal feel to it. Same with Tyldak though the leather/skin is quite different, it really works well!

@Amberfox
Thank you. Yes, she has been sweating in longing for him. In addition I think that in the cave moisture level is quite high. @Wildfire Glad that you like it. I just put all my love to them when I painted their skin ...especially hers - it made the process easier. |
