A sculpted from scratch and mold piece. This was my first figure in this 65 mm size, so I had a friend that helped and taught and showed me how. This all begins with a wire armature (the two photos on the sides) along with the drawing of mine I used. The photo on the bottom shows some clay on it as well as the wire.  The top middle photos are of the face. I was shy and unsure about sculpting the face as a beginner in this scale so -- for the face [only] I took a mold off of one of the C - "Disney Fiery Rosetta" cake toppers I found on ebay and Modified / Altered (photo insert next to male face for comparison) -- it is a little wider for a male so I could use the eyes and bangs as scale for the figure. Had to fill in some places using a "green clay" that is a two-part plastic epoxy that stays soft and flexible after curing and is made for small detail. He is approximately 3 and a half inches tall. The bottom middle shows the painting in progress it has two layers applied at this point.

This is insanely good! This is really your first ? Actually it's quite amazing that the cake topper's face fits so well. I am still staring at all the details and fine craft! I am so looking forward to see the next steps!

Cat   YOU are an absolute  doll for taking this class from me !

And, Yes, this is her first try in this scale (65mm)  CA-Twin has been helping me see through pit falls and problems so I can finally get to the thread I started over a year ago.  She has  been diligently sculpting with me almost weekly for a year on this project.   She is so adventurous that she started Two;  Claiming she could not separate Lovers for any reason (how sweet).

You did so good - I am so proud of your tenacity  gal !
