Tree lady - 2015

Found another unfinished picture! did the colors for this around 2012-2013 and for a reason unknown I left it unfinished (probably forgot to finish it, it happens to me all the time) so here it is! colors look a little weird because I tested lots of this on it back then... man, I should check what other pictures I have that have been unfinished for years!...

The shading in this is really well done, showing that she's actually in the trees with the leaves creating a pattern that's not too distracting on her. The mountains are a little off somehow, but it's not bad. The focus is and should be on Terra. I'm sure she likes and wants it that way, too!

Yup! the mountain looks like crap... but like always with colors... I simply lost interest and left it like it was... (have a bad habit of doing that, but I draw for fun not to impress anyone)... I wish I'd have interest in doing something a bit longer, but when it turns into a chore... it stops being fun and I see no reason to continue it...

Also another one where the colored version gives a different impression than pure lineart. So nice to have both! Here the picture really has depth and the feeling of being high up and looking far away while the lineart gave me the impression to bee deep in the woods.

I did this to practice computer coloring backgrounds. because I really should put more effort to things like that... like here, I really don't like how the mountain stops on the top of Terra's head! hahah! looks plain annoying!...
