Done as a trade for Rainpace's owner, Peggy / Saree. Going back in time a little bit, and showing Blacksnake congratulating his daughter Chicory and Rainpace on their Recognition. I don't think Rainpace ever, in a million years, thought he would get a hug from stern hunt-leader Blacksnake. 
Usual stuff: brush pen inks, Copic markers. (Ugh, proper proportions, what are those?)

The vivid color-palette of this piece immediately caught my eye. Their outfits really match into the autumn forest (like they should), yet stand out enough, even if the background was outlined as well. I also like the details in the Background a lot. I really wanna explore that father-tree with its many levels.
Also, nice work on the expressions. Chicory looks quite happy and also like daddy´s proud little girl, which matches Blacksnakes expression quite well. He does look happy as well, but also quite sentimental the way he gazes into space. Rainpace looks quite uncertain. You can tell he doesn´t quite know how to handle the hug and where to put his hands. I think the proportions are alright. There are only tiny things, mostly Chicory´s right leg is short, but her pose distracts enough not to catch attention if it wasn´t for you to mention it at all.

You are so good with body language. Even in thumbnail size the idea of the picture was conveyed to me immediately. While it might be coincidence, I also love how their outfits match the background. And yeah, autumn is my favorite season, so I always love to see pics like this. I agree about the right leg being a bit too short, but then again, I wouldn't have noticed it. Blacksnake's expression is the perfect mix of pride, gentleness and happiness. I have no idea how you achieved that.
