Timid is my original ElfQuest character.
She is careful and unsure, because she is blind. Thus her name.
I'll put up a coloured version of her tomorrow if I get the time to finish it. But here you have the grayscale version.

Oooooh this is super cool! I love seeing in progress shots like this. There's a really nice depth in this! How do you use this in the coloured version, overlay/multiply or?

Thanks, I'm glad you think so! A thing we have in common then, beside elfquest and elves ~ Ahh yes, I love progress shots too. It's so amazing to see how people start out and how it changes and comes to life as the process goes on.
For the coloured version I used overlay. First time I tried colouring that way, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I've still got the first doodle for this as well. But don't know if I should post it too. xD |

I really like this grayscale version. There is more contrast in this one. And I like her hair-do.

Aw man yeah definitely! I'd love to see the sketch as well! (I might actually try out this was of shading, the sharp highlights on her hair give a lovely kinda-cellshaded-kinda-not feel)
