Part seven of the couple drawing challenge. The theme of this one is 'cosplaying'.
Crossovers are always promising great fun to do and when I thought about this theme, I had quite a lot ideas about who they could be cosplaying. The first idea was to make them cosplay canon characters, but I couldn´t really decide which ones, so I thought further. Next idea was Conan and Red Sonja (in tribute to Wendy), but I didn´t know how to make slim and brunette Foxtrail look like beefy blackhaired Conan just through a sword and loincloth. So I searched for a pair that vaguely matched both their looks and came up with Peter Parker and Mary-Jane, but Mary-Jane is no character with an actual costume and their personailties don´t really fit them either. I think they would rather choose to cosplay nasty characters, so I thought about some villains. I already drew them as Team Rocket from Pokemon, so that was out of question. My fellow roleplayer nailed it by suggesting Harley Quinn and Joker. And really, they are a perfect choice not only in looks, since Foxtrail and Night Arrow are both nasty pranksters, known for their mean/mischievous grins. They are partners in crime and have a tumultuous relationship. Also aggression (him) and fear (her) are these characters´ major issues.

Hm, never before thought about making my original characters cosplaying. Nice idea. I definitely also would look for some cosplay that fits the characters. These two really seem to do justice to their outfits. The dramatic shadows and evil/mischievous grins just make this perfect!

Since I don't know the characters well enough from the holt, I can only go by what I've seen of them in your art. This so suits them, much better than Peter Parker and Mary Jane. They fit the looks as well, especially Foxtrail's expression. Love that you went with a very comic book feel as well.
