My character Foxtrail´s soul. I used several canon references for this from Timmorn to Lyree (how she was shown at Dewshine´s recognition). I wanted him to look both, foxlike and wolflike. Unfortunately the moonlight drew most of the color out, it was far more reddish than it looks now, but showing him at daytime just made no sense to me. I still tried to keep the cyan low as possible to keep at least some color. Maybe I´ll upload a detail shot without the night filter later on, if anyone is interested.
This pic was done in several live drawing sessions. Thanks to those who watched and kept me company while working. ^^

Yes, concept and execution are wonderful! I was always fascinated with the look of a Wolfrider's soul. Man, those colors and shades! Wonderful!
I wish I could join your drawing sessions, but I think my work schedule makes that rather difficult. But I think it's pretty awesome that you're doing these live drawing sessions! |

@Treefox: that really depends on where you live, due to time difference. I live in Europe, but I usually draw and stream through the night. I always drop a line at Facebook when turning the stream on, so if you´d like to watch poke me there (username: Dilan Atlialp) |
