Lovely faces and a rare swamp setting. Really something we don't see every day. The only thing that I find a bit distracting are the lines around the characters. It looks like they're making some strange movement. Wonderful individual character designs and that little lizard is such a nice touch.

Hey there Treefox !   RIVER TWINE HOLT does indeed have wonderful swamp and river bank back drops to take advantage of.  This character, more than any other, loves the shores and scurry little animals of the forest.  Chicory is a wonderfully playful and well-rounded original character. (Who happens to be up for adoption this Feb. 2014)

Did you happen to click on the thumbnail for the finished Picture ? ; the lines are softer and more complementary for the format and I find I enjoy my pencils more than any other drawing medium - otherwise - please pass the sculpey clay and wire!  I would rather sculpt than draw.

I am so happy that you so often show the process of making your art. I love to see this kind of process. Did you actually ever make a sculpture?

@ Dreamcat  - Thank you.  I do love the cubs.

@ Treefox - My sculpture to drawing ratio is low, I will admit !    But Yes !   I have completed many EQ and other fan sculptures.    (check out my DA site)     HHHhmmm lets see . . .  It takes me 9 to 26 weeks to do an armature (wire) and stage-four sculpt.   Lets average it out at a drawing every one to two weeks - that would mean my "batting average"  is about 25 to 1.  I can do  approximately twenty five drawings in the time it takes me to research and prep and finish a sculpture.  Sometimes longer if detail is tricky or I have picked too big of a scale to work in.

I have recently decided to change over to a  65mm  scale size (about 3.5 inches) to try and do a full body for my EQ Fan OC and PC characters.  I hope to break it down to a teachable process.  Wish me luck !
