 These two had very little interaction really, in the few pages where Bowki was alive. Most of it was simply a few exchanges of words while doing the archery part. Well, they must have exchanged more, but that was the only thing in the actual comic. In the image, there is that tint of sadness on Dart's face. He is not really looking at Bowki's arms, or the position. I like to think that this is mostly due to thinking back a bit... Or, the more cheerful version, one could argue that Dart is so natural at this, he has done this for centuries already, he can fix everyones stances in his sleep. Only real crit that I can give is that Dart already had that odd facefur sticking out at his sides at this point. Though, must admit that I don't mind terribly. He looks a lot better without it. |

I have to admit, I'm actually not all that familiar with the story lines involving Dart, he just came up next in my list of who to sketch. And since there had been some recent discussion about what happened to his family, it seemed like a good subject. What's weird is that I had actually blocked it out, then went looking for some references, and only when I got to the story realized that this is the only way they'd been seen together.

I must admit that I do not see the sadness... I see it more like "Yeah! hit that target! hit it hard!" and I actually don't know much about Bowki, or never have I drawn him... should do so one day!... I like Bowki's pose very much here! leg's are very balanced. like they should be in a real archery type situation!...
