Illo for "A Monster with Eyes"

This is for the summer art trade with Blacksnake or as known here Eregyrn. Its an illo for a cute little story between Blacksnake and his daughter Chicory, as she tells her father of this 'Mountain with Eyes' that is actually a Marsh Beast/Moose.

I think you did a terrific job with Blacksnake; there's no mistaking that's him. Chicory is cute as a cub; never seen her that way. Is the image of her recounting the tale or is there a large moose coming up behind them? The only thing I could say is that moose have very distinct head shapes, and while you braved a very difficult angle to draw it in, you would still see that bulbous nose and very dipped forehead. Still, if Chicory is recounting the tale of what she saw, maybe her memory is distorted enough that this is what she thought she saw.
