I admit I was a little confused at first with this illo; it really looked like a character my friend has, and for a moment I thought she had done it! Do you plan on keeping these illos sketches or will you be "fleshing" them out a little later?

No, no plans to flesh them out or work on them anymore. I have a little time off work, so my plan is to try to do a sketch a day, spending no more than 20-30 minutes on each one.

I think that is absolutely great drawing practice. Thinking back to the days, when I sketched every day, I think my drawings were much more fluid and I had more control over the size of characters and stuff.
Apart from that it's always a joy to see Skyfire. I have rarely seen her looking so content. |
