Another fast paint test - 2012

Just more paint testing, this new version is so different to the older one... Luna just mentioned that Terra's hair gets fluffier when it's cold... yup! I didn't think when I drew and now the background is nice and sunny!...

And faster than I can finish posting comments! You can't help but focus on her large, expressive eye soft face; the burst (and mass) of green just emphasize them.

She has big big BIG eyes, and it's odd to draw that sometimes, overall, this is a boring portrait... but it has green.. for all those who love green, i suppose!... thanks for the comment!...

Count me in as one of the "green lovers" but bear in mind I love living around forests and summer is my time of the year (it can never be too hot or humid for me). Her eye stands out for more than just being large; I love the shading and play of light you put in it; makes it come alive and truly catch the viewer's attention.

I love forest too, though I love then most when it's winter. Summer is a bit too hot for me, (even in Finland!). but I like green and all earthy colors as well!

Green, black, and silver; can't go wrong. You'd likely never survive a summer where I live; it can get into the low 100 degrees Fahrenheit for a few weeks with 100% humidity. It's when I can finally start wearing my t-shirts outside. We're both weather wimps - I could never survive a winter in Finland - I'd be a block of ice before it even got cold enough to freeze anything!

Yeah! we are wimps that way! I personally love it, when it's so cold that doors froze shut and they can't be opened without physical violence!... when outside, there is no people anywhere, it's just the frozen forests and me... like I explained it... it feels like the world was mine alone...
but even the littlest warmth makes me drowsy and I get ill easily when it's summer... so I'd clearly die if I was there when it was summer!... |

Nothing better than trailblazing and hiking in the middle of the night when only deer and other critters are your companions. It's just you and nature. Winter, I'm so cold all I want to do is curl up and shut down. My nose and eyes run, my fingers seize up, my rings fall off my fingers, and I get downright MEAN (grouchy no longer applies). If I could I'd hibernate.

I don't think it's boring! With all the fresh spring green hair, she looks like the wood sprite from Fantasia.
About Winter: I also love to be out in the snowy woods! When it's really cold and sunny (or cloudy). No people around and it's so quiet. Just sometimes you hear a small mouse running under the snow or you see deers fleeing. It's rather romantic for me I think. I like all seasons, though. Every season holds something special for me. Sadly, I am just not so good with heat. Still envy you for that, Amberfox! |

Thank you! Well, I like all the weathers as well, but summer is just too hot for me... Fall and Winter are my favorites, because less people walk around, I tend to get annoyed with people in summer, like goddamn ants, they are everywhere, crawling out fro their smelly little holes to sun light, peeing everywhere and causing trouble... it's odd how similar ants, bacteria and humans are...
