Venka Colored

I think this is the quickest I've uploaded something...
Used Tombow Dual brush pens and pigma sensei to outline.
Because I copied the other picture and made it bigger so that I didn't ruin the original.
I'm still terrible with markers.

I must say that the blueish shine in her hair is just perfect! and I now, coloring with markers is hard...

I don't know why, but this made me think of woodcut prints, or rather how the woodblock looks when you have made a print. I really like those deep greens and her tanned skin.

@Berit: Yes, very. But when it comes out good you can really appreciate it! And thank you! I'm glad it looks good, I was nervous about first putting it.
@Czarine: Really? Hmm... And it took me a while to match her skin tone with the pens I have, but I'm glad it looks good! And, the green I thought would really match her, she wears a light olive sort of color so I thought dark green would really look wonderful for her. When I first started coloring it though, I was having second thoughts! ![]() |

I love the thick, smooth outlining. So pretty. That hair and the eyes. It may sound strange, but I also really like the shape of her eyebrows.

I think the most I like about Venka, is that she doesn't seem as delicate as the other elf-women. She has the bold eyebrows and strong eyes, while the rest of her face is very feminine, she still looks tough.
