Is Abyss supposed to be a "he" or is that a mistype. Cuz that's my only critique, that the character really looks female, not male.

 Joselle: Abyss is male. I know that he looks more female than male, mostly due to the lips. On the first one I tried to make on the same base, it was the last thing, but fucked up really badly. Winded up having to do the thing all over again, which was kind of a bummer, seeing that I had already spent 17 hours on it by that point. When I got back to the lips, I kind of said "nah, you're good enough." |

I think it's something with the eyelashes as well; the one sticking out the front look very feminine to me. You could probably improve the masculinity greatly by just making the lips a color closer to the skin tone. It's reading more as lipstick at the moment. I do love the head frill though. I missed it the first time in the large version; it's so delicately done.
