TPH Chief's line : Icefox and Bearhunter
by Guest
Third chief of Twin Peaks holt.
Icefoxwith her lifemate and adviser Bearhunter. Icefox was sweet 16 when her father Hawekeye died and sh had to take over the chief's position. As it was she was always a frail little thing, and almost too innocent to lead a tribe like her father and grandfather had.
She was lucky to have Bearhunter who .. due to his mere presence was more then able to strength her back. She made the wise and strong male her adviser and in the process they fell in love and lifemated, and eventually recognized. Icefox gave birth to their son and almost died in the process. She lived through the birth but never recovered fully and finally died on sickness.
Her chieftain was a short one in elf terms but her time brought the position of the advisers into it and a lot of softness in handling matters.

I love the contrast between these two! Seems an almost impossible relationship, but they look like they make it work.

I think they did ^^
Lol When I uploaded it in the holt people were all worried for poor Icefox XD But I have to say. I knew two couples where the guy was bigger - MUCH bigger then her and it works fine. |

Yeah, I really love the contrast here, in coloring as well as height -- I like how his very warm (though dark) colors surround her cold/bright ones.
As for height -- yeah, I was dealing with this myself recently, when trying to come up with a Blacksnake/Honey composition. ![]() ![]() Overall, I just really like this series that you're doing. (Since I can see some of the previous ones above in thumbnail form.) I like the coloring of them, how certain colors repeat, and how the landscape is subdued. I think it gives them all a nice sense of place and history, and characterization of the kind of tribe they're from. Would love to see a series like this done for RTH... by whoever gets to it. ![]() |
