Rejected set of poses for 2012 calendar ... I didn't feel the portrait looked elfin enough, and after some time away from the picture, I came back to discover there was too much wrong with the pinup to fix.
So, back to the drawing board.

It's not that unelven, I think! I very much like the pinup pose. Lovely body shape!

Thanks! I liked the pose for the pinup, but I had the eyes painted on a separate layer and they were kinda' uneven. I'm enjoying the new pose more.
... that, and I decided to use a different coloring technique for the hair. I don't do so well with blondes using this technique. XP |

I agree that the pinup pose is terrific; the curve in the body really gives it movement and a sexy quality. Not sure why you thought the illo wasn't elfin enough; looks just fine to me. Look forward to seeing what you do decide to use for the calendar, because what I'm seeing here is really lovely. Blonde can be a problem, but I use color pencils for the most part which is less complicated (in my opinion).

As others here, I must say that pinup pose is simply lovely! it looks very very good and the shapes are nice and she looks so soft and sweet! I also think it looks very elfin... lovely art! that's all I have to say!...
