I have no idea when I made this, I'm gessing I was about 8 years old (evidently I was still in the "princess stage")? If you're wondering about the text, then the word "Alver" means "Elves", and the rest are Swedish wolfrider names.

But this is so cute! And hands up, the characters are really recognizable. Cool!

I like how you've combined 2 of your favorite things here. ;) It's kind of sweet. I've had several different stages too, haha.

Many thanks for the kind comments :) I had such a laugh when I found this drawing (actually several pieces that I must have cut apart and saved in one of those old photo albums)... They look pretty in their little princessy-dresses and button-up shirts, eh? ;)

Tack (thanks)! ;) I'm actually from Finland but my first language is Swedish, so I started with Swedish EQ, moved on to the Finnish version (could only find number 4 and 5) and then finally started collecting the original like crazy :)

Strongbow with a crown... yeah... mmm, he'd approve, right?? ;) Guess he was my prince from the very beginning *chuckle*

Thanks! I'd like to believe that I've improved a little bit in the last 20 years, but it's always hard to judge your own work, right? XD And by the way, I just love your cosplay album... It's always been a dream of mine to dress up with a group of friends, unfortunately my costume making skills aren't nearly as good as yours and I don't know which character to pick (leaning towards Kahvi, but that would require some serious costume work)...

Drat!  The best I can do is German, which some words can be similar but still very different.  It IS very difficult to judge your own work, and we tend to be our harshest critics.  Not to worry; your skills have definitely improved!

Amberfox, thank you! :) and I sure hope that my skills have improved a bit since I was 8... I just had a "breakthrough" with one of my character sketches for the fan art calendar, and I realized that I'm still learning new stuff (don't know where it comes from, suddenly you just notice that you are using a different technique than you used too)... We'll see whether this turns out to be an improvement or not :)

Wow! this is awesome! really tells that you have a history with the series! I always love seeing old art, and I can see you drew this with love back then! and I have to say, even if you drew this as a kid, they are all recognizable! not many 8 year olds can draw like this!... so it's silly to say, but it shows you got talent even then!... and yes, you have definitely improved during the years!...

Thanks Berit, that means a lot to me! And, yes, I did put lots of love into this piece, I remember that clearly. I've been mad about those elves since day one! :) I really love your old Cutter art as well!
