Found this old n' hideous sketch of Aroree and felt inspired to redo her. Just a quick sketch on the tablet, so nothing exceptional - though I think I managed her face a little better this time!

I kinda like her 'Then' look better, especially her costume.

I love it that people are still doing these occasionally...I love these before/after shots.
 You did indeed capture her face better, especially her sad-eyes. (Though I take exception with calling the old one hideous! I rather like the corset/feather/shorthair stylin')

I don't think the old one is hideous at all! But not very recognisable as Aroree, true. The new one really has her eyes, but I think too much jaw/chin. Plus it looks like she floats there, which is what I would do if I had that magic of hers, of course.
 And I like it that you've used that talon weapon in both pictures.

Hideous? I love the design of the old one. Might be too lively for her, but it looks very nice.

Both are terrific, but yeah, I like the older one a bit better. The outfit is awesome! I love her hair! I don't see enough Aroree, it seems. That's it, I should go draw her. You've inspired me!

I'm also one of the people who like the then better than the new one. If I remember correctly, it was made for the tribe switch thread as SoC, as a Go-Back elder.
