I think it's kinda cheating but.. it's still Elfquest base.
his was another commission by a dear friend who REALLY saved my life at this point.

She was a bit vague about what she wanted so I came up with this. Our two OC characters taking a walk in the rain. I know there are a lot of mistakes in the perspective and so on but I still like how it came out.

I had a ton of references.. like for the jackets, the umbrella, the houses and well year that's it. I had a lot of fun with this one :)

I love pictures that have weather or atmosphere in them. I especially like how slick the building on the right is with the wet. Nice job!

This is great! It looks like a screenshot from an anime tv show or something. :D I really love the girl's expression! They're so cute.

If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have thought that you tilted the angle of the building deliberately to give the feeling the buildings want to protect those two.

I'm not bothered by the spacial aspect of the buildings in the background. It gives the illo an almost dreamy feel to it, something you'd encounter in a dream or fantasy sequence in a movie. It also helps to frame and thus focus the attention of the viewer on the couple. The detail on the umbrella and buildings is wonderful, even with the distortions. The couple look happy, and the guy's cute!

Thanks so much :) Well it was on purpose that it's slightly tilted but some of the buildings are out of perspective. Yet I'm glad it had it's very own atmosphere :) I am not bothered by the mistakes in the end because it has it's own very well and nice feeling.
