Deeproot and her suitors

Inspired by Mel's idea about troll love rituals for RiverTwine holt!
I decided to pick a troll NPC that wasn't drawn yet, and Deeproot somehow spoke to me, also because it's not mentioned she has a mate or anything (= open for business, lol). And because she's known to be ambitious, I figured she'd be the kind of troll girl to go for the guy with the most riches. Might be why the guy with the pwetty flowers looks so... shot down. XD

Drawn with some kind of fineliner, colored in Photoshop. The background might look like palms, but just imagine they're really simplified ferns. I was tired. ;P

Awww, the flower troll does not look too confident... I immediately feel sorry for him. Such a lovely scene and I like the little details like the ring on Deeproot's foot. The light coloring and the texture look so good. This does not scream "Photoshop!" and like that.

You do the best trolls!  I don't know how you do it, but that troll gal is a real cutie while still being very trollish.  And her suitors are also quite handsome young trolls while not being short on warts and other embellishments.

I agree with Windrider! somehow, you make Trolls look cute, beautiful and handsome even though they still have their trollish parts, no- you make them beautiful BECAUSE they have those features! that makes them somehow so very realistic and they seem to have life of their own, they are not mere pictures... absolutely wonderful!...
