I really need to buckle down and read AEA...the premise is really great, and your drawings for it always catch my attention.

I admit I'm waaay behind on my EQ reading. Must find this tale so I don't ask stupid questions like, who are these people and what journey?
Love the title (couldn't agree more) and the art is just terrific. I can't tell if Aurek is seasick or just sick of it all in general (both, maybe?). Great to have you posting again and I look forward to seeing more! |

I love this!! I was so excited to see you had illos to go with the story
Love the human costumes for Venka and Aroree, Aroree reminds me a little of Lady Amalthea from the Last Unicorn (her gentleness is showing through), Egg looks like he'd really like to go home now and Two-Edge's expression is priceless!

I loving that 'Amalthea/Aroree' idea. Last Unicorn-EQ would be a great crossover, with Aurek as Lir. Who'd be Molly Grue and Schmendrick, though?

Oh yes, I do love that idea! But I also cannot immediately think of any couple that has a relationship like Molly and Schmendrick... Closest may be Clearbrook and Treestump? Also not really...
I love that Molly is not the young, innocent princess, but a woman with experience, who has been disappointed, been through a lot and doesn't trust easily. But of course she has a heart of gold and a wonderful rough charm... Going to stop swooning over the Last Unicorn now. |

Just thinking about what you said about Molly, Treefox. Kahvi would fit Molly well. And she could have an unconverted (and less a**hole-ish) Tyldak as Schmendrick?

Hmmm, I like that idea! Wouldn't have thought of it. Even Tyldak's features seem to fit Schmendrick well. Oh, please go ahead and write that story! I would say I'd love to illustrate it, if you weren't such a fine artist yourself.
