Blacksnake new look

River Twine just did a time-jump of 5 years, which affords everyone the opportunity for a little character-redesign. I decided to work up something new for Blacksnake, staying within the family of styles/colors I've used for him in the past. (I almost feel like I should post this one side by side with the very first pic I ever did of him 4 years ago in the Unforgotten Past challenge. 
It's not an exact redraw of that earlier piece, more reminiscent in some ways; but man, what a difference...)

Oh, man, I love the leathery sheen to the dark green leaves decorating his tunic. Really nice costume design and coloring. Your work is an inspiration and a challenge. I appreciate how you're never satisfied, even though you're very, very good!
