Newt and Browncoat

Done as an art-trade for Windschatten, who owns Newt at RTH -- this is him with his new wolf-friend Browncoat.

I don't think anyone really needs to worry about the squirrel. ;-)  They are so fast and dodgy that I think he's going to get away, here. But youngsters, be they wolves or wolfriders, can't resist a fun chase. (I did a red squirrel because, while my area does have some, I have only rarely spotted them, and so they seem kind of exotic to me.)

Pentel Pocket-Brush pen inks, Copic marker coloring, after-effects in Photoshop.

I'm repeating myself here, but your wolves (well, animals in general, actually) are just breathtaking! So lifelike!

I like how you made shine on the fur of both of the animals, and yeah, squrrels in general are fascinating creatures...

Haha, I love your explanation for using a red squirrel, because that is the ones we have here in my country. (If we have black ones then I have never seen them.) But I also thinks it adds a lot to the image, being so bright . And yes, they are extremely fast agile, they can dodge very easily. But I am sure that they are fun to chase because of that. :D
