This is the first of my portraits that I've done start to finish with my cintiq, and I must say, I reaaaaally like the way I work with the cintiq. Lots faster and lots looser. I think I have to go back and re-visit the Tyleet and Leetah ones and get them up to snuff. lol.

My favorite so far of the portrait series...and not just because he reminds me of an angular Curt from Glee (linky for those who don't know Glee). ^_^ That hat is b*tchin'.

Scouter = pretty boy! This baby-face look really suits young Scouter. I really miss that version of him, was much more interesting and fun.

These portrait series is just killing me with its beauty! Not fair! I loved that look of Scouter. Nice pick for a character. The only thing I miss: his brown eyes. I was always in love with his hazel eyes.

Yeah, I actually debated that. I made them brown at one point, but it was too much brown in the piece...and you know...that strange middle-value poo brown. So I kinda just went with the assumption that Wendy meant for him to be grey-eyed, and just ran out of that color.

I used to love Scouter when he was younger. Nowadays he's just 'blah' to me. This image is just the vibe he had.
