Bald Wavedancer for Micinjensue (colored)

This drawing was for Micinjensue at the Scroll of Colors, who was facing the prospect of chemotherapy and wanted to see pictures of strong, happy, bald elves - especially Wavedancers.
This was my very first attempt at coloring a scanned sketch on PhotoShop. Unfortunately, I only had a mouse.
Foxeye's version is probably more accomplished.

The idea behind this illo just makes it more enjoyable. Again, she's beautiful, the scene wonderful; there seems to be a revelry in her actions, as if nothing can hold her back. I think you nailed the idea for Micinjensue perfectly.

Windrider being an absolute pro artist, wonderful human being and inspiration to many of us is missed as well. I hope she's still creating art out there somewhere... I highly recommend checking out her non-Elfquest art threat. It's mindblowing! And all done traditionally too...
