Ever have one of those nights?
Bloodwing and giant bond eagle Windrider are about to meet Thorn, courtesy of her trying to make a meal of Windrider (note the arrow). That would've been a dinner lasting moons, at least. Story illustration for Janett Beasley's, "A Claiming."

I'm honestly thrilled you're enjoying the illos! I enjoy drawing feathers; I study them by looking at my own parrot and how the light reflects off of them. It's not perfect, but practice, practice, practice!
