Bloodwing and Windrider Meet Thorn
by Amberfox
Ever have one of those nights?
Bloodwing and giant bond eagle Windrider are about to meet Thorn, courtesy of her trying to make a meal of Windrider (note the arrow). That would've been a dinner lasting moons, at least. Story illustration for Janett Beasley's, "A Claiming."
Bloodwing and Windrider are Robin Beasley's characters, Thorn (not shown) Janett Beasley's in Holt of Grand Illusions.

I'm honestly thrilled you're enjoying the illos! I enjoy drawing feathers; I study them by looking at my own parrot and how the light reflects off of them. It's not perfect, but practice, practice, practice!
