Moluccan cockatoos...what'ya gonna do? Give in...you know you want to pet them...
My character Timewolf over in Shadow Vale with his omnipresent attention slut, Apricotplume. Unlike Foxfire, his hair starts darker at the roots and lightens toward the ends. Scanners hate my coloring.

It's not just your color scanners hate. Mine never comes out right either, guess that is why I stick to pencil and ink so much of the time. I love your artwork, thanks for pointing me here.

Thank you, Icemoon! The hair took me quite some time to finish. I see you are familiar with Moluccan cockatoos - anyone that has been around one knows that feeling!

You're welcome, Robi! Yeah, I tend not to post my color work as a result; it looks so much better in person than once a scanner is done chewing it up and spitting it out. Glad things worked out and look forward to seeing more of your work. Mind if I post the illo I did of Mystik?

Careful, Icemoon, if you pet a cockatoo even once, you'll never get rid of it! Your hand will get sore and eventually fall off before the bird will get tired of the attention.

Thank you, Berit; I think this is one of the few color illos I've done where the scanner didn't mangle the image too badly. I believe I used two different shades of blue and a royal purple to color the outfit. Timewolf is one of the few characters I have that's a bit of a clotheshorse.
