the detailing and shadows on the fins of her tail look very nice!... and I agree with Afke, the background too has a very nice amount of details!...

I've seen so many illos of sea elves with nothing in the background. I was going for showing the sea is alive with various animals and plantswithout detracting from the character. Still not happy with the dolphins...

Yeah, underwater life rocks. My summerhouse is in a place where there are many seals. There are a lot of jellyfish too, and fishes. Not so many colorful though. We have shark, but they live either too deep, or aren't big enough to attack anyone. We have had incidents where great white travel all the way, but rarely. And they end up dead rather quickly... |
