Character sketch/study of Chieftess Goodhope.
Chieftess Goodhope of the Peacebringers of Serengeti Mists in World Paths. The Peacebringers are bonded to elephants and roam the Serengeti attempting to end the wars and bloodshed among the elfin holts and human tribes. She is the eternal optimist and quite a daydreamer, her goal of uniting the holts of Serengeti Mists as well as the wide array of human tribes into one happy family is never likely to happen. Both of her parents died trying to do the same thing, but this hasn't stopped Goodhope.

She looks like the cheerful type, I can see she'll never give up on her dream and keep seeing the positive in everyone!

Unfortunately, she's unable to see the dark, dangerous, and lethal side of things and this could very well get her wounded or killed. You're right, though; she'll never give up.
