Another picture of Dawnsong! She's tree-shaping in this one... not sure how I feel about the picture, though it did take a very long time to finish for some reason. I think halfway through I forgot how to draw people.
Edit: hopefully this reads better as the background, I toned it down a bit and gave it a more folliage look, and made it less blurry.

Beautifully colored! And this picture is so well balanced in colors with a little green here and there and the pretty browns.

Fantastic job! I especially love the way you've depicted her magic.
My only quibble would be the very-blurry background. I think that's just because I've gotten to the point where something like that makes my eyes hurt to look at it, and here, it is competing a bit with my eye when I try to look at her face. |

I understand why you spent lots of time on this one! The coloring is so smooth...!
I tend to agree with Sgaana, though: you might consider toning down the background to make her plant-shaping glowy-magic stand out more. But that's basically just nitpicking

Ah yeah, you guys are right about the blurry background. I think it looks different in photoshop for some reason. Thanks for pointing it out!

I think it might look a bit disturbing for the eyes, because it feels like the background is moving..? I think it'll work if you use the blur tool only and not one of the other filter effects, and blur it even more, so all focus will be on your foreground.

I guess I missed the blurry background that caused so much eye strain because what I'm seeing here is just fine with me! The focus is on Dawnsong and the plantshaping she's using, and that's the way it should be. I am especially drawn to the warm glow of her magic on her face and neck. Very nice touch!
