Whew... sorry to be absent from the project this week, everyone. The start of the semester is always so busy - I check my email thinking to take care of calendar business and my inbox is stuffed with 30 emails from students who want to add a class that only has room for 20 and is already full anyway. Budget cuts are the worst.

So... back to calendar business. If you've emailed me this week, I haven't forgotten you! I'll try to respond to everyone today or tomorrow. I've got the last calendar formatted, I just need to plop in the art as it comes in and maybe rearrange so the pinup order looks good and varied.

I will be working on this last calendar in ernest starting tomorrow (Monday). So please everyone - if you can't get your art in today, try to get it to me this week at least! There is no back up plan - no calendar until all the art comes in.

Sorry I haven't been around! Moving has been killing me

I have the Winnowil grid art done and am inking it, but I have to work out on how to scan it and send it your way as I don't have cable right now and am hitting up wifi areas to access XD Also scanner is packed up still. UGH...

But on a good note Washington is very beautiful and I much prefer it over the desert

Well, Zarhan is finally done and submitted ... somewhat later than I had intended, as I got sick over the weekend and my eyes were so light sensitive that I couldn't even look at a computer. Now, on to working on a piece for a local gallery showing ...

Ah, yes, I myself have come down with bronchitis bordering on pneumonia and am bed ridden right now

I hope others aren't so bad off! During my frequent naps I will finish my grid art for the calendar and hopefully have it sent in tonight.

Rayek 2014 DONE. Horray!
I just sent all the files to Windrider.

It was a long journey, starting at the mid-end summer 2011. It was a lot of work for me, but also a great experience to finally get creative again, to get myself into inkscape and using a tablet from time to time. (Though tablets probably still work better with pixel-painters like GIMP.) Also learning quite some things by looking at tons of art and photos from the net how things do look and how to maybe get this to work in your own picture.

I am happy that I did these to entries and I am also quite satisfied with it, you can expect some humorous elements for Rayek, too.

Thanks for convincing me to participate.

I'm excited to see all the other entries soon.
As soon as I have the ok from WR I'll upload the parts of the pictures.

And get well whoever is still sick.

As you guys may have already noticed, the 2014 Calendar is (partially) up, both in the gallery and here:

Windrider is still waiting on some submissions that she knows to be pending, and is formatting some others, but she felt we may as well put this live and have a few days to enjoy what is her so far, since the site will be transitioning soon and things may be a tad rocky when that happens!

Yes, bonus art should be posted, Startear.

I am not yet done tweaking the calendar. I am waiting on the last pinups to come in, because almost all of them are characters who don't appear anywhere else in the three calendars. If those really don't come in at all, some of the so-far unused pinups in the gallery will be made full pinups, some are already in the line-up as grid art but on a page that is still missing its pinup.

Like Foxeye said, we just wanted everyone to have a chance to enjoy what we've got so far before the handoff tonight. There are still more calendar pages coming and there may even be some tweaks to what has already been posted.
