Trading Post Rules
« on: January 31, 2010, 01:47:23 PM »

General Trades or Sales
  • This area of the forum is only for sales by members of the community, not for advertising by merchants.  If you are a merchant who feels they represent an unusual circumstance (such as selling a large collection of ElfQuest collectibles), then please PM me to discuss whether an exception can be made
  • While this is primarily for the sale of ElfQuest and art, there is no rule against members posting about sales of other services or items. (As long as they are legal!)  So if, for example, you are selling your laptop on ebay and want to link to it, go right ahead
  • We do not accept any responsibility for the success of sales/purchases on this site.  If you want to protect yourself from fraud, we suggest you use Ebay or another site that provides buyer/seller protection, and then just post a link here
  • As usual, we reserve the right to delete posts at our discretion

Art Commissions & Sales
  • No soliciting of commissions, or sales of existing artwork you yourself have created, of canon ElfQuest characters and/or situations. Artwork created under license from WaRP Graphics does not fall under this rule
  • By posting for sale any work of art, you assert that it is legal for you to do so through to either being the original creator of a non-derivative work, or through First-Sale Doctrine. Unfortunately, while copyright law makes exemptions for parody, we in this forum do not
  • By posting for sale an Elfquest-related artwork drawn by someone other than yourself, you assert that one of the below conditions is true:
    • The art is not of canon Elfquest characters and/or situations, and does not infringe WaRP Graphics' or anyone else's copyrights or trademarks
    • The artist was Wendy Pini
    • The artist was officially licensed to draw Elfquest material at the time the piece of art was created
