In Rayek needs more torture - Posted Oct 23, 2011
With the exception of the ear being too long, I think this is a very good and accurate drawing of him! Like the others I think his skin looks lovely.

Icebird: They were introduced in a story of the Blood of Ten Chief's anthologies. It showed up in the fourth, called Against The Wind. The story is titled Firstborn, and was written by Allen L. Wold.

As for being canon... well, most of the stories not be be included in he comics are canon. However, if the story was changed in the comic, then the comic is considered the correct one. Most of the stories in the anthologies are better, but that is my opinion.

Oh, and when I finish opening a thread dedicated to this tribe on a group at Scroll of Colors dedicated to the anthologies, can I post a link to this piece?

*gasp* S-someone drew fanart of the Goatriders! *dances in celebration* This tribe, despite only being mentioned in one story in the anthologies, pretty much forgotten and stamped as non-canon is my favorite tribe. They are just so fascinating, especially the bola wapon they use. So is their burial ritual, buried and covered by stones. Probably to hinder the longtooth cats from scavenging on the bodies. Riding goats is badass and cool, no matter what people say :P Probably more comfortable than riding wolves.

Erhem, fangasm aside, I just love this. I know that they are said to clothe rather plainly, but I always see them as having decoration on their clothes. So your artistic license passes through my eyes. :D I love the fringes on Two Shadow's clothes, and Goldmane's headpiece. Goldmane's clothing really stands out.

As for critique, It seems like the goat Goldmane is riding has horns which blocks it's field of vision. Perhaps if you lifted the horn itself a little higher it would help?

But all in all, it is so wonderful to see fanart of the best tribe ever! *dances*

*blink* Blue hair! One don't see that color showing up often. I like the necklace.
In Never Leave - Posted Oct 16, 2011
I like the shade of her skin. Windstone was cool, but I'm seriously rather confused over her skin color. By the time she showed up in New Blood, almost everyone was pale by default. Personally I like the theory that she was a full blooded Sun Villager who joined the Jackwolfriders best. So naturally I like the dark skin.

You know, I didn't see the deer there before this moment! Agree with everyone here, it is gorgeous.
In Brace - Posted Oct 13, 2011
I just went with the usual Glider look... and added the "dead" eyes to him. Yes, we need more Brace! More Gliders too. :D

He looks scary.
In Tyldak - Posted Oct 13, 2011
That's good to hear :) He keeps showing up in my drawings. I think I'm going to start trying to draw his body too soon. Found some very good reference pictures of his body.
In Tyldak - Posted Oct 07, 2011
(-_-) Now I want to make a plush version of him. Seriously, why does he ninja into my work lately?
In Tyldak - Posted Oct 07, 2011
Aw, isn't that something wonderful to wake up to! Thank you!
In I know these mushrooms - Posted Oct 05, 2011
Good job on making Rain visible yet sort of transparent. You can truly feel the emotion in this piece. Well done. :)
In Mushrooms! - Posted Oct 04, 2011
Just love that you two are dropping Rain art here. ♥ Poor Rain must have been panicked.
In While the Cubs Sleep - Posted Oct 02, 2011
You're right, there aren't many fanart pieces with Rainsong where she isn't surrounded by her children. Personally i think it doesn't need the mature tag. Obviously we all know what they're going to do, but they aren't that long in their intimacy thing.
In Talmeh - Posted Oct 02, 2011
Slight correction, his name was Talmah, not Talmeh.

You're welcome. It was fun and took my mind away from a grumbling stomach. I see now that i have stumbled upon my curse when working in paint... it turned so small.

Sefra and Gibra gets very little fanart time. I don't even think I've seen fanart of the latter, come to think of it. Moonshade really draws me in. It sort of looks like there is a piece of flesh sticking out of her mouth. A wild side we rarely see. Aroree seems to be crying. Love the earings. Tyleet with freckles is ♥. Yereh looks almost done. I want Ember's shirt. Seriously, it looks so soft and nice.

I particularly like how the phases we saw the old bird go through is connected to each other in such a clever manner.
In "Touched by the Sun, Toorah's Story" by Phoenix RP - Posted Oct 01, 2011
You know, one doesn't see a lot of fanart of Toorah. I like the glimpse of what the younger version may have looked like.
