Treefox: Thanks! :D

Joselle: Abyss is male. I know that he looks more female than male, mostly due to the lips. On the first one I tried to make on the same base, it was the last thing, but fucked up really badly. Winded up having to do the thing all over again, which was kind of a bummer, seeing that I had already spent 17 hours on it by that point. When I got back to the lips, I kind of said "nah, you're good enough."

There is something in him which screams Bowie. The one which we all think is kind of hot, but a little creepy as well. The first Willowgreen which was never shown outside the anthologies pretty much claimed that he was the reason why Rahnee was so unstable.

And if I remember correctly, his father once set fire to an entire flock of birds, and eventually the fire devoured him. It never said if Zarhan saw that, but it happened when he was young (under 100 years old, which was that for the High Ones.)

So he didn't have a easy life.

On a technical note, since I don't flirt, I'd imagine that it must be a lot more fun to flirt with one who doesn't expect it. ;)

Yes, he looks very handsome with that beard.
In Dance in the night - Posted Nov 20, 2011
I agree with Treefox, it looks like a tribal dance. The flames may not fit so much considering that they are Wolfriders, but the piece would miss something without it me thinks.
In Jack of Spades - Posted Nov 19, 2011
Not to mention that when he grew up, he recognized twice!
In Six of Hearts - Posted Nov 16, 2011
But this skin tone is way prettier than the new one. And yeah, I hope there won't be any twins. That will be boring.

And no triplets either. Or fourlets.

I keep coming back to this image, it makes me so happy. You've captured the special bond of love and trust which can happen between a critter and an elf (human too.) Despite you think that the wolf was destroyed by turning the fur black, I think you did fine anyway. You can see the fur texture, and the muscles coming through.

And yeah, I think Heaven s pretty close to the jibes which comes through here.
In Vaya lascivious, supposed calender 2012 entry - Posted Nov 13, 2011
Same here about the exam. Except mine is at the same day as the submission deadline for the calendar. Not sure if I'll finish all of mine, but Minyah will be done at the very least.

Enough about that. I really like how she is only wearing furwraps.

This is one of my favorite art pieces here. (Where is that favorite button...) I love how you've made the light from the moon shine on the wolf. If you had not said that it was made by Paint, I'd never guess or see it. My first guess was oil painting, to be honest.

Nilla: I checked, the shade on the sleeves is either called wisteria or thistle. It is a purple shade. I did the boots and the cape first, then thought how to make him not too visible on the Savannah. But after I had made the two other things, I ran out of colors which made sense. Then he got that soft pink... and everything was on a whim from there, while still trying to keep the design ElfTanner gave him. :-D

Now I see him as a High One. XD

Treefox: Thanks! Yeah, the colors aren't ordinary.
In Haken (of sorts) - Posted Nov 11, 2011
Why not give him makeup too? And a pretty little tiara as well? :D

I do think he is too muscled on the chest and the arms. But yeah, the High Ones build is hard, they are so thin and porcelain like.
In Elmireth - Posted Nov 11, 2011
 Thanks! :D
In Kyrer color scheme - Posted Nov 11, 2011
nilla: I'm glad you like it! He was fun to color, especially because I'm getting the hang of not getting the "streaks of doom" with the copics. Originally I was going to give him brown eyes , since I like the brown eyes with blond hair best. But then I saw that I had picked brown for the tie ups for the hat. Besides, many people I know who are no-nonsense types only uses hats which has their eye color. And I love magenta color. :pirate

joselle: I've tried that, but no matter my approach, my scanner doesn't take the coloring of skin. :(

Hehe, I keep telling myself to use that site, but don't... I agree that it is a great site, and many tips. But as I sit down I just never use it. You can totally tell.

Here I was actually using the "copy what I see" method, took it from the EQ movie script. And accidentally grabbed the wrong fineliner. Which is why I abandoned it in the first place.
In Bailon's Children - Posted Nov 10, 2011
I'm on it.
In Taroh - Posted Nov 10, 2011
Thanks. Yeah, the colors are slightly psychedelic. Looking at it again, I find it odd how much the colors work.
In Seaflower - Posted Nov 08, 2011
I love her tail. so stylish.

Yeah, underwater life rocks. My summerhouse is in a place where there are many seals. There are a lot of jellyfish too, and fishes. Not so many colorful though. We have shark, but they live either too deep, or aren't big enough to attack anyone. We have had incidents where great white travel all the way, but rarely. And they end up dead rather quickly...
