Dude, Sunstream's rather....muscly, isn't he?

*drool*
In Scouter College - Posted Dec 05, 2009
Wow! This is awesome! Super useful when trying to decide what's the perfect Scouter outfit.
In Lynx - Posted Dec 05, 2009
Love, love, love this. There's something almost lion-ish in his face. Really spectacular.
In Mother Nature - Posted Dec 05, 2009
Oh. Haha. I didn't even answer your question about the 100 theme stuff. See....cintiqs are so awesome they make me drool out my brains....

I stumbled across it on deviatart.com ...but have long since forgotten where specifically. But the jist of it is that there are 100 prompts...(what I've used for the titles of each of the pieces). There's a couple different versions of the list, but the one that I used is my favorite. You're supposed to finish the list in a year...but screw that.

I've had several "series" --all unfinished of course lol, throughout my eqfandomness, but the prompt list was by far the most fun. So do it! Join the cult! I can send you the list if you'd like. <3

Lol. Thanks.

A cintiq is a type of wacom. And a wacom is a digital pen tablet---ooodles more awesome than a mouse for the makings of digital art. Cintiq's are the fancy wacoms where the tablet is the screen, and you draw directly onto it, almost like a digital piece of paper. Pure awesome!

This is a really incredible piece. Seriously.
In Azreala - Posted Dec 04, 2009
Love, love, love the tail.
In Wolfrider Newstar and Kimo - Posted Dec 04, 2009
I still think this is my favorite of all your work. <3
In Charging Ahead - Posted Dec 04, 2009
This just has comic cover written ALL over it. I have no idea when you did this but it's pretty dang awesome.
In "In the Trees, As You Please" by Joselle Ho - Posted Dec 04, 2009
...I think it's because his hand is just melting into her head. ....lol

I did this in one day....*ahem* the day before it was due....so....yeah..... He actually wasn't supposed to be Woodhue.....I just realized at the last second that the wrong eye was visable, lol.
....and he didn't have a bottom half for the longest time. I never really solved that. I just stuck his ass behind some leaves and called it a night. lol.
In "You Are My Home" by Jerelyn Foxeye - Posted Dec 04, 2009
Dude, you can soooo see the love that went into the painting. That just tickles me.
In "Skot's Last Ride" by Joselle Ho - Posted Dec 04, 2009
Awwww....Treestump just kills this one for me. Everytime I see this all I can think of is how damn vertical he is, and how much that diminishes the movement of the piece.

I pretty much did this in one sitting...... oi. Why do I do such things.....?
In "The Four Seasons" by Joselle Ho - Posted Dec 04, 2009
Haha!

Ok. Now I have to find and post the individual pics. This was my first calendar entry, and I thought that you needed to leave space for the month title. lol.

I really went overboard with this piece. I was sooooo nervous that it wouldn't get in, that I actually made my boyfriend check when the gallery went up. lol.
In "One Heart, One Mind, One Family" by Carol Lyon (Windrider) - Posted Dec 04, 2009
Probably my fave of Carol's work, hands down. Not only is it totally breathtaking....so much movement! But conceptually it was also a "That's such a great idea! Why the hell didn't I think of that!" moment for me.

In "Remembrance Unites, Love Makes Us One" by Holly Hutchison (Sgaana) - Posted Dec 04, 2009
Dude, you're really starting to master that whole thick-and-thin linework stuff.

I'm gonna have to second Afke's note on the use of the star brush though. <3
In “The Mirror” by Joselle Ho - Posted Dec 04, 2009
Heh. Thanks! <3

This one kills me though. It's just one of those pieces that I really wish I could go back on and re-do. I don't remember how long I spent on it, but not long enough. It was a pretty rushed enterprise, and I think I got in a little too much over my head with this one. :(
In "The Mosaic" by Jerelyn Foxeye - Posted Dec 04, 2009
I really love this piece, probably my fave of the calendar this year. I love how you've captured "the moment" within a larger scene that's being played out.
In Recognition! - Posted May 20, 2009
This one I've never seen! Moonshade is exquisite! Never been more beautiful.

And I love how you've captured the moment of recognition before they figure out what happened, when it's just surprise.

In Intimate Moments - Posted May 20, 2009
Hah.

I knew I hadn't seen this one either. Really lovely work. I think you're right, it does tip the scales towards tasteful intimacy. But I think that's fine. There's a sweetness here that is so rarely drawn.

love this.
