He looks really calm here. Not to say even dreamy. A side I saw not so often in him.
Good picture!

nana-nana-nana Baaatmaaaaan! Heh. Sorry but that was my first thought. :)
And he's got a flirty smile in the pinup pose.

I don't know how something can be cute as a button but she looks indeed cuter than she normally is. :)
In Fetch Timmain - Posted Feb 07, 2012
This is cute and hilarious.
In Kahvi by Elea - Posted Feb 05, 2012
All that blue fits her somewhat icy nature. Good work!
In Shuna by Kelly McKay - Posted Feb 05, 2012
Umm, something about her (that I can't name) reminds me of, um, I don't know. My sister? (That'd be ok.) One of my ex-girlfriends? O.o
Anyway, I like it either way. Good work also on the subtle background.

I had never thought she could be so cute. In her pinup pose she looks so innocent.
In Skywise by Ahna Blake - Posted Feb 03, 2012
I'm with Treefox here, he looks much more innocent here. It's probably not aquarel but I like that background style with the moss and water.

I thought of giving some love to the old man. While I pondered the idea of participating in the calendar, whoops - weeks without nothing happening - suddenly somebody had taken Suntoucher. :) That kinda shocked me. Because I finally had decided to try my luck with him and then he was already claimed. Waaah!
I like the lot of sunset-ackground here and all the work on these scales on his hood. You did a good job on making old Suntoucher shine.

Ah, there's my favourite girl again. With her typical calm beauty. Mhm, I could watch her so long. I also like the addition of Petalwing showing her something.
In Trinket by Afke van Herpt - Posted Feb 03, 2012
OMG. I'm impressed you dealt with her. I must say I found the idea interesting but hadn't dared to claim a character like this. And yes, she's still the spoiled brat. :)
In No-Ripple by Larialoyla - Posted Feb 03, 2012
*sigh* She's really cute. She has a certain calmness to her that I like so much about Clearbrook and Venka. *purr*

Happy to see the humorous elements found good response.
But then, isn't he the healer of them? I didn't have much read Wavedancers before but since I wanted to take a lesser known character... and since I like healers I started with him.
Somehow I am also happy that she talked me in. It used a lot of time, I knew it would but when you're having a sometimes nasty job and lots of mess to deal with outsides the job then time flies by and you get into stress to finish art in time. But then it was also a good training for me, fun to bring some ideas to reality, to participate in a big fanart project and I guess if it entertains people that's a good thing too. :)

It was done in vector graphics b.t.w..

Sparkly indeed. Drooling is allowed, right?
In Venka by Mirror - Posted Dec 30, 2011
Ah there's my girl. *purrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
Yes, calmness is well met. A thing I like so much about her. Calmness and elegance. *sigh*
In Ekuar by Maggie Atkinson - Posted Dec 30, 2011
Ah, very interesting. I was very curious how difficult characters like Ekuar would come out. Very good, very good.
I also go with treefox here, it makes me feel peaceful and accomplished (even though I have a lot of work still before me) right now.
In Skywise by Carol Lyon - Posted Dec 30, 2011
Like a classic from Wendy!
And an invitation to look at the stars together.
In Rayek by Leigh Davis - Posted Dec 30, 2011
Heh, hot like the desert. And the eyes ready to mesmerize anything that comes by.
Is that acryl-colour?
Thanks for providing a Rayek for 2012. :)
In Winnowill by Elea - Posted Dec 30, 2011
OMG, there's a bird on Winnowill's fingers! :shocker:
In Say Cheese! - Posted Nov 28, 2011
*sigh*
It's cute but it depresses me that other people working for the calendar can put out artwork just as a "side product" in like 5 minutes.
