In Dreaming of Nightmares by Evonne Little - Posted Jan 01, 2014
Well, well. I never thought it was a good idea for him to get on with the challenge of handling Winnowill. But then, somebody had to do it, right? Ah, he's so noble.
The poor thing.
I like the use of Winnie's entangling hair - it is a nice metaphor for her less material ways of entangling, betraying and confusing people. And that is even more sad - maybe he'd like to be entagled with her - but not with her ulterior motives in it. I hope his tragic path will lift up somehow in the Final Quest.
But anyway: Thanks for doing Rayek-art for the calendar. :)
In Whose Dream? by Holly Hutchison - Posted Jan 01, 2014
Nicely chosen title and wonderful art style combination!
In Dream of Things to Come by ShujiE - Posted Jan 01, 2014
Well, Skywise has a big heart with space for a lot of women in his life. :)
But I guess yet it is not him dreaming about a future with her and cubs.
In Too Many Dreamberries by Czarine - Posted Jan 01, 2014
Haha, oh my god, this is so much our little Shenshen-bubblehead. Even having dreams like this. Well, dreamberries in every sense. Well, drugs are dangerous. I wonder what Pike would think about this. Maybe he'd appreciate the idea of a village burried under dreamberries.

Oh noes! Ekuar is even laughing at him. A true nightmare.

@Treefox
Thanks. Hope you had a nice christmas with all the material and immaterial sweets you wish. :)

Have a great new year!

Awww. That looks cute. And very starlit-skyish. I like the calm atmosphere. Makes a good Sylvester picture.

I always wondered how you clean up the "messy pencil" part with the rough lines and proportion helpers. Is a thin eraser (or eraser pen) enough? It looks like a lot of work.
In Clearbrook - Posted May 29, 2013
*drool* Clearbrook! And with really long braid! I agree on the 3/4 thing but drawing the same person from various perspectives is most definietely not an easy job.

O.O *ogles at art*
Wow. Great artwork. I agree with Maggie, you got the faces really nice. And somehow they look very young, about the time they first met. Ah, wait. That means poor Rayek. How can you?  :)
Still it's a very beautiful and romantic picture.
In Chiefly Dream - Lock and Braids - Posted Apr 16, 2013
*purrr* It might be just the colouring... but this picture emits a lot of warmth and a certain sparkling.
In Eyecandy - Posted Apr 13, 2013
Oh, eyecandy it is.
For everybody. I also like the cheerfulness about the picture, makes me forget the nasty weeks or months that you sometimes have in life. Redmane looks totally in love with brushing his own hair.
Thanks for publishing.
In Rayek - Posted Apr 09, 2013
*purrr* Very gentle and noble. And what Treefox said. :)
In Of portraits and WIPs - Posted Oct 06, 2012
Aww. *purr* Rayek! On this picture... well, maybe they would fit somehow? I think there is still no real match for him. Well, if Venka wasn't his daughter... Even though it has a very soft, lightly blurred speedpaint-style the important details come out nicely.
In Cutter quick sculpt - Posted Oct 06, 2012
Yes, faces aren't easy, especially since you have to work a lot of detail on a small scale. Also a face makes a major part of the impression the watcher will have. A lot of feelings, moods are expressed through it. I think it was the hardest part when I worked for the pinup calendars.
Good to read that Rayek is going to become "3d" soon. :)
In Skywise quick sculpture - Posted Oct 06, 2012
Nice! I see you're progressing with more characters as you intended. :) Maybe he'd like a bit more bright starlight for the photo but otherwise it looks really good.
In Cutter quick sculpt - Posted Sep 28, 2012
Hmm, they should hire you. I mean we STILL lack figures for EQ. Especially Rayek. We had these mediocre action figures, the high quality busts and a few single Cutter statues from resin. But still there is so few of that. I wonder why.
In Haken - Posted Sep 11, 2012
I always wondered if he could be Rayek's ancient forefather. Fiery mood all the way and similar look.
In Rainsong by Larialoyla - Posted Apr 14, 2012
The picture explodes in cuteness, especially the portrait! Though the pinup looks nearly unusually daring for her. Heh. The blue flowers fit in wonderfully.
