In Shuna - Posted Nov 04, 2012
A couple of poses for a fierce pregnant Shuna come to mind. I wonder if I'd have the skill (or time) to tackle them.

True, the mutton-chops would seem more 70's southern rock than 80's glam rock. But either way, to me it's a lot of hair.  :lol

That's what it looks like to me.  Mmraarr!

Corel Painter Essentials 4 - It's the only software I can seem to get the hang of.

Well, that one class is really my only experience with archery. Who knows, it may have just been that teacher's pet theory. I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't people reading this who know better saying "what an idiot!"

No, most people have one eye that is slightly stronger than the other (which is why 3D movies give a lot of people headaches), and that is the eye you want to do your aiming with, and the side of your body that should hold the bow.

Yes, very cute...but in a bad-ass kinda way. :) Very nice!

When I took an archery class, the teacher told us it wasn't our dominant hand that determined how we should hold the bow, but our dominant eye. So your character could still be right-handed.

Or, you could simply use a computer program to flip the drawing. ;)

He certainly does have an interesting expression. What kind of wolf is it?

This has a lovely, very soft feel to it. I kinda feel for Longshot, though. Hope his arm doesn't fall asleep from Pathmark's weight on it.

She does have a kind of perturbed look, but it's a gorgeous portrait nonetheless.

No, no plans to flesh them out or work on them anymore. I have a little time off work, so my plan is to try to do a sketch a day, spending no more than 20-30 minutes on each one.

Actually, in my mind it's the moment when the rest of the High Ones are heading out to meet the humans.

I think you did a really good job with the scales and the colors.

I love the way the two front characters are entwined.

Of course, she WOULD be in a tree!

Do I get to be the first to say, love that berry placement!

I know I'm going to get myself in trouble again by saying this - but did this guy steal Han Solo's clothes?

First of all - I really love all your artwork, and I really love her hair in this piece and those large dark eyes.

But since you asked for a level 3 C/C - It seems like her ear is too close to her face (in both pictures.) It should be right and up more, and also angled a bit more, showing more of the fleshy fold of the front and less of the back shell, if that makes sense. (Ears are hard, in my opinion!)

@silentleaf - Paper Ghost actually did do one of Skywise and Rayek.

I love the shadowy, contrasty-ness of this. Really makes it seem authentic. That, and the polaroid frame!
