So do I! But as I last talked personally to Wendy and Richard about this topic they really wanted any Elfquest series to stay true to their vision. Which doesn't mean there won't be changes, but the core themes should stay intact. They told us stories of what studies were proposing to them... They changes they wanted to do to the stories and characters to make it appeal to a broader audience and the Pinis refused these kinds of deals. So what I'm trying to say is, they didn't take the first deal that cane along but as they say themselves negotiated for four years to get the right deal.

Wendy mentioned the negotiations took four years. Let's see what will come of this. I'll keep posting updates if I hear anything.

I like a free choice of theme as well as celebration as a theme. Hiding 20 pieces of something in the picture sounds fun! I guess it would be a little bit of a challenge, I would love it.

It's been ten year! :shock Congratulations, Maggie! Thanks for hanging in there.
It would be nice to make it something special.
I am liking the idea of majing it sort of a double-feature, like jaRF suggested, like an alternative version for every month. But I agree that it would probably be difficult to get all that art... 24 submissions sadly doesn't seem realistic.
The other thought that came to me was a continuation of "Greatest Moments". The official EQ calendar ended with the Original Quest, so there could be many new moments to add until the end of Final Quest.
It would be nice to make it something special.

Wow, Maggie! Year after year you make me really happy with this calendar! Thank you again for all your hard work. One more year that really astonishes me with what people do with the topic. Sooo great to see so many styles and approaches. Thanks for keeping this site alive.
