Holts / Oakleaf Holt

Setting
The holt is located in a temperate mixed forest. A river from the near cliffs at the north-west runns south-east to the sea and marks the holt´s southern border. The north-east and the area beyond the river is largely unexplored. Trolls are dwelling in the mountains, humans have not been spotted yet.
Tribes
Wolfriders
Led by Wolfdancer, son of Ember and Teir. When he reached full age, he chose his new tribe from his mother´s and grandfather´s tribe and led them to a new home. They met new friends who joined their tribe and founded their new holt at a small clearing, framed by giant oaks.

Go-Backs
Led by Sonia, daughter of Venka. On her search for Kahvi, Venka met the normadic Go-Back tribe who were also looking for their missed chieftess. When they heard rumors of Kahvi´s death, most of them grew tired of searching. The young Sonia became their new chieftess ans led them to the cliffs to found them a home again. This tribe of warriors grew very suspicious of magic.

A sea-elf tribe is planned.
Plot
The events take place aprox. 50 years after Ember´s war against Angrif. Her son Wolfdancer founded a new tribe with members of his mother´s and grandfather´s tribes, and led them to a new area.
Recently, a mysterious source of wicked magic haunts woke and hauts the tribes with nightmares and illusions. The Go-backs, drawn to the forest in search for the enemy, stumbled into the Wolfriders. But the meeting wasn´t that happy. Misunderstandings and cultural differencies make them eye each other with caution. Will the shared danger make them join forces and overcome their reservation?
Rules
Oakleaf Holt is a play-by-post board with sElves only. Connections to the canon are possible as long as they´re not contradicting. Readers are very welcome. ^^
