Thanks you guys! :* To answer your question, I picked him from the Original Quest, issue 17. He's the guy playing the drums when the elves start dancing & getting to know each other.. err... better... It was rather difficult painting him (and I'm not sure I did a very good job), since I can only remember seeing him in that one panel - so I'd be quite surprised if you did recognize him

Thanks guys for all your feedback! It’s much appreciated! Yes, I do agree with you, it was REALLY weird seeing a beardless Treestump, but it was also a fun challenge trying to make him look like himself without his “trademark beard” (quoting Mirror here). I’ve wanted to paint Treestump & Rillfisher for a while now, and I was hoping I’d get away with drawing him without his beard…

Thank you both! Now that I look at it, the colors seems very "Christmasy" (guess this makes a late holiday greeting)... Always fun to tackle characters you've never done before!
EDIT And thanks Treefox! I kinda wonder WHY she's picking berries in the nude, perhaps she's one of those night eaters (you know, you wake up in the middle of the night and you've gotta have something to nibble on)?

I think you've done very well! I'm glad you posted it, I'm a big fan of such unconventional art. Have you done a full body study as well (would be interesting to see that one too)?

I'd say that Chitter is working hard on that (must be difficult staying grumpy with her around)
On a totally different note, what if any of the wolfrider females had face-fur (after all, they've got as much wolf blood in them as the male wolfriders... why not)? Someone should sketch that

Well.. ehrm.. I think there's probably no WRONG age for Strongbow...*coughs and blushes* Mind you, I got quite a fright the first time I saw any of the elves with face-fur (guess I was just as resistant to change as Strongbow usually is), but I've grown to like it. I suppose change is often good, once you’ve had time to let it sink in
