Don`t know why, but this is just stunning (motherly feelings because all people around be get pregnant lately??). The pose and her critical look are just adorable. And the littel goat looks really like made of wood.

Thanks Razzle and Treefox. So an eye-width between eyes is a scale for good facial proportions? I have not known. Only for elves or in general??
And yes, I had to draw over mouth and eyes again and again.But acually I liked the effect in the end.

But I also agree with Silentleaf, her hair should start a bit more above. I checked it on myself: my forhead from hairline till brow is at least as long as my nose.

Aaah, I had something different in mind. Faber Castell produces water color crayons that look like normal color pencils. But thanks, I will keep my eyes peeled.

It´s great how you managed that the eyes and eyebrows look the same in both pictures. Therefore one can see that it is exactly the same elf.
And wow, water color crayons??? I gave up after my second try. I haven`t known that it is possible to achieve so nice results. The color gradient looks very smooth.
