Title: Looking for collaboration
Post by: Dreamcat on March 10, 2013, 03:26:06 PM
I´m looking for artists who are interrested in collaboration. It´s been quite a while since I worked in a team and somehow miss it. ^^

If I had time, I would take this opportunity immediately! Maybe in the future?
I so want to draw more again!

I have some canon fanart illustrations in mind. No concrete motif so far.

O_o I've never done actual collabs before, prolly 'cause I'm a control freak, and a perfectionist, and 'cause I draw by hand on paper not digitally like on a tablet, which would make collabs difficult XD.

>.> I'm not a keen one on canonical fanart, namely 'cause I require loads of references for the canon characters, for accuracy, plus I suck at drawing elves, and people shapes, and body-parts like hands and feet.  Seriously if its got scales or feathers or paws I can do it.  Prolly I just like drawing monsters and beasties more than people-shaped things with pointy ears.  *Sigh*.

Hope you find a collab-person or persons!

I'm not too familiar with art collaborations, either. How would it work?

There are different ways possible. One could do linearts and the other colors, or both artists work alternately (works best when artists know each other for a while already). Digital artwork is most easy, cause artists can simply send their work-files. Also, it´s beneficial, if their skills are somewhat similar in level, so no one feels under/overstrained and the quality of the work doesn´t suffer.

So what I´m looking for is:
A skilled (digital) artist (no need to be a master, but no beginners please), who would like to do either lineart or coloring of canon fan-illustrations. A link to a gallery with some samples would be helpful to get an impression of style and taste.
