When someone opens up a new check-out aisle at the store and invites you to leave your place in another line...and in the time it takes you to walk over there, someone butts ahead of you at the new aisle. And the cashier doesn't tell them that you were supposed to be first. So you find yourself with more line ahead of you than you had before.

Seems to happen to me a lot lately. One of these days I'll learn to just say "I'll stay here".

Adult nasty-bad things in internet, Television, commercials and EVERYWHERE else... I don't mind gore, but when you see close up pictures of... NASTY places... that's just too much... I have to wonder if there is anything else in peoples minds nowadays... and for good behaviour's sake! I wish people would learn to put a warnings if they are going to show that kind of material!... here I haven't seen any of that luckily... let people draw what they want, but I hope there would be warnings for those who don't want to see stuff like that...

Awww, don't use that word.  :'( There's nothing nasty or bad about any part of my body, or anyone else's body!  I love my body.

Not to say I want it on television, or that I want to see the various orifices/dangly-bits of other people on television, because I've still been raised by a culture that makes me awfully shy about looking at those parts of the body.  And, well, most porn annoys me too.  Just like most romance novels annoy me. They are more full of fantasy than most fantasy stories!  Yet some young men start to believe that women behave like porn stars, and young women start to believe men behave like men in romance novels. Blech.

(And yes, that level of mature content is what the maturity filter on this site is for. :)  We haven't had anyone draw anything deserving of that label yet, but I'll definitely enforce it if anyone ever does.)

People who think they can reverse reality by voting it down.

You know what I hate? Going to the airport at 4am, to be told the flight was delayed every two hours for the next ten hours, only to be told that the flight was cancelled and to come back at 4am the next day. THEN, showing up the next day to be informed yet AGAIN that the flight was cancelled and that you can't fly out until 3pm that afternoon. So... spending two days straight in an airport, one of them being xmas eve. And granted, while this doesn't happen very often, it's happening to me right this second, so... yeah. Hence the b*tching.

No, there's absolutely no snow. And despite the clouds, it's pretty clear. Our plane broke. And they said they were going to fix it, and they didn't. Big fat liars, all of them.

That would be United. The same United that's featured in such songs as, "United Breaks Guitars". >.<

The all-time worst thing that annoys the living crap out of me:

"I'd like to talk to you about... Jesus."

Quote
"I'd like to talk to you about... Jesus."

Indeed, that sentence makes me shudder in withheld rage.

Oh, and when strangers ask me what sexuality I have. Happened five times this year alone.

People who stare at you on the bus, and you know for a fact that the two of you have never met. Its like, "WHAT THE HECK DO YOU WANT?!"

When my friends tease me about my sexual preferences. Ok, yeah, I think African-American guys are kinda hot. So what? Doesn't mean that they have to make stupid jokes or comments whenever we see one. And ok, Snoop Dogg is kinda hot. Stop teasing me about it!

Blargh.

When someone criticizes my friends. I don't care if someone tells me I'm ugly, but if they talk badly of my friends, intended or unintended, I won't take it. Not even if the person criticizing is dear to me.

I've never really liked about talking bad stuff behind peoples' backs. It makes me nervous.

Oh, and one thing I dislike, are people who laugh when they watch videos where people or animals are really getting hurt or die... may sound cruel, but for those kind of watchers, I hope some day their loved one will die an agonizing death, and they get to witness others laughing at the situation... would feel sorry for the dying person, but at least someone might we learned their lesson...

Animals in pain or being tortured. Just can't stand it. I really don't get that people seriously can think that animals don't feel pain or fear.

The colour pink, those annoyingly memorable commercial jingles that you just remember all the time and find yourself humming, anything remotely lacy and with ruffles 'cause lace itches and ruffles make me think of a gigantic slice of cake with extra frosting.  Clothing based on gender stereotypes.  Skirts, dresses, and stillettoes just look better on Drag Queens seriously, they generally have better (if hairier) legs.  Overtly cute and fluffy things, like teddy-bears, since I can't help but want to say 'Aw!  That's so cute!' and buy the blastest thing off the toy-shelf and take it home to snuggle.

Needles.  Shards of glass.  Thorns.  The occasional dagger....

ART-BLOCKS! Dammit! it's incredibly rare for me to have one, but when I do, it's almost painful! because I'm obsessed in drawing! it's been almost a week and I haven't drawn anything! It's driving me insaaaane!...

Traffic.
I dodge cars and people who don't look before they cross the street every day. :P
People don't pay any attention or just can't remember simple rules that are only there for everyone's safety.

Okay, here's my laundry list. I've thought about it off and on, but I think I've managed to sum it up.
Humans. Nope, just don't like them. Excessive displays of sex and public displays of affection that seem more like the couple is screaming, "Look! We're a COUPLE!" Societal norms - bite me. The color pink, cutesy things, and stereotypes. Being asked if I'm gay because I'm not dating or married yet. Hell will freeze over first. The sun; I like that it makes tasty green things grow and it warms the world, but its sphere of optic violence is pure evil. Winter - it's cold. Religious righteousness - get off my front porch before I burn you at the stake or serve you to the lions. And nothing feeds the hungry or cares for sick or dying more than building yet another church or opening another all religious tv channel. Animal abuse or neglect - I'll euthanize you first for being an asshole. Hypodermic needles - just plain evil (see sun). Traffic (I agree with you, Afke) and art blocks (argh! I completely agree with you, Berit!). Inept doctors that can't or won't help you. Having to be semi-diurnal because of this lame society (I still defy them by being rather nocturnal anyway). People who say or do things just to get a "rise" out of you. People who give me grief for liking and drawing long hair. Seafood, it tastes like it smells.

Well! Amber and me have in common the one thing that we hate more than anything, Humans! I can't stand those critters running around... there is a reason I'm a loner... every new thing humans think of usually makes my blood boil even more... have been this way since I was a child so it's not bitterness that comes with age... I was pretty much born with it!... though I must admit... people here are the only ones I actually like... but you are elves and trolls, right?... I see no humans here...
