The finished portrait of Nightsea's character by the same name, an elfquest sea-elf in Star Trek's mirror universe. The PADD is a little out of place...I think I drew a next generation variation...but I think we can ignore that. ^_^ Lines done in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and colors in PS CS4. Edit: Added stars. And uploaded a slightly larger version than the previous one.

I have been working on a drawing of Longfin for Icemoon, but when I saw her new Tide, I was inspired to use that character for marker practice. Touched up in Photoshop because several times I grabbed the dark blue marker instead of the pale blue. I'm too impatient. sigh

A wee gift for Icemoon's new clearbrook site. This picture is dedicated to everyone who has lost someone they love, and to that struggle to just hold yourself together and act normal. (Also done as more practice using art markers. One lesson learned - do not try to mix different brand of markers. THey may not play nice chemically. Still so much to learn.)

So Kaslen IS mother nature....so it's lame and uncreative of me to do her, but that's how the cookie crumbles. This is also my personal favorite work of mine, and the first painting I did playing around with my new cintiq....which has shamefully been used to make lame icons and buttons and not nearly enough fab eq art....alas. And for the love of God enlarge this picture...it looks sooooo much better that way. And it's HUGE!

So, after a long time I finally finished a watercolor painting . And what's this, it's FANART! xD Elfquest FanArt to be exact. Winnowill is my favorite comic villain of all time Used a cobalt blue underpainting here, with overcoat in cobalt blue, alizarin crimson and burnt sienna. I'm really happy, how her skin looks! Used black ink for the hair (with a brush!) Tools used: 300g/m² watercolor paper, watercolors, salt, waterproof winsor & newton black ink, iridescent medium and white gel pen. Time: about 4-5 hrs (without waiting time) Winnowill and ElfQuest are (c) WARP Graphics Wasnt sure with the mature tag - since nothings going on here, I went without it. :3

This is Nightingale, the deceased mother of Chief Strongwill and is sister Starfall from Thornwood Holt. She was a stormy person with a hot temper, although she couldn't speak cause of an accident.

And finished the second picture for the second Art Meme. This one is for Flowerstar. She wished for a picture of Smoke and Shadefern from our Holt The CaveDwellers. I was pondering for a while what to do with the two of them... in the end I decided to draw them a bit younger. Shadefern and Smoke are Twinsisters and back in time both wanted to become "Keeper of the tunnels" - well kinda scouts. The Cave Dwellers life in an enclosed cave system and never knew the world above them. They grew up in the caves and that's their world. Keeper of the tunnels are responsible for drawing maps, and finding new stuff. A very important position They are also responsible to trade and talk to trolls. ^^ Smoke later became chief, Shadefern Keeper of the tunnels.

Because I had so much fun with my first sketch Meme on Deviant Art I set up another. This time I challenged myself some more. The theme was relationships. Silberschweif get the first spot. She asked for Grove and Wolfsong so she got them (OT: I hope this don't need a mature filter O.o )

It's a while ago I did this and I think after I left the holt a lot changed ... through. I'm still utterly proud on this picture. It took me over a half year from the sketch to the finished project!

Backstory...my dad liked ElfQuest too. I was muchly-pleased that I had one parent that was able to get into my hobby, so when he asked me if I'd draw him as an elf (as I did for myself and my friends), I was delighted. He still has the picture I drew for him up on his bulletin board in his home office. So for his birthday in 2006 I figured it'd be fun to draw an updated version of "Raptor" (as I called him). The bird is a Mississippi Kite, the species he's done about 20 years of field research for. Fun bird...it likes to dive bomb golfers. It's fair to say he's the worlds leading expert on Mississippi Kites. preens on behalf of her dad

something I drew on course today! first I was inspired by something that Icemoon said about Terra's hair... something about sleeping under it!... (that's right! blame Icy for this!)... and somehow I drew character's from all around... the characters and their owners are Terra (Luna), Icemoon (Icemoon), Laluna (Czarine), Marut (me!), Yereh (Foxeye), Iri (Irianta (hope I got that right!)), Fladder & Zoetgras (Afke)... (and don't worry Afke, this isn't the picture I've been planning to draw for you!)...

a drawing of Marut I did when I was on a business course about an year ago... I only had ballpoint pen and some paper that was inside my file... the scan looks quite bad, because I had to use the scanner of near by ATK class, so it looks a bit messy, the texts I added when I was home, first I wasn't going to upload this, but then again, it's good to share!...

This is a piece I've done as a present for Willowspring a couple of years ago. I remember seeing one of the weirdest trees ever in Spain. This tree had the most gorgeous flowers a big as my hand. These inspired me to do a pic of Leetah with such flowers in her hair. To make it more romantic I put in Cutter as well, imagining their were celebrating their own private festival of flood and flower.

The first in a series of five pictures requested by Blackbird (from SoC). She requested a picture of Ember and Venka together but those were the only real guidelines. So, I ended up going down this path, since they are both daughters of chiefs and now chiefs of their own splinter tribes too ~ which is why I let Venka have the four braids of the Go-Back chief and let Ember carry both her own dagger and New Moon as well.

In the tradition of Mirror and her stunning art, "Our Tribe," I was inspired to do similar. Initially, I was going to group them as Mirror has, but then I got lazy trying to get everyone organized (especially since some do not have heights listed) and complicated because I kept the individual illos large. I also wanted to draw characters that haven't had a lot of time in the spotlight, for the most part. As always, the scanner just doesn't do the colors justice, but at least you can get an idea of what I was going for. I already have about a dozen characters drawn, but I intend to color them all instead of inking them. Takes longer, but I just felt like trying to do it. I hope I've done everyone justice, but if I haven't, let me know and I'll make the corrections. And if anyone would really like to see what I can do with their character(s), contact me. Up now is Startear's Lilac.
