Ram running after something, or somebody. I used a ref from pinterest and I think I messed this one up, the pose would make more sense if he was moving backwards?

I love a good action pose! I think it works well as a forward motion.

I love a good action pose as well, and I don't think you messed up on the motion. It looks like he's charging forward, leaping over something or propelling forward. I think it's the placement of the tree/tree branch that might be throwing it off. Maybe with some shading, you can move the branch a bit to the side so it is clearer that he is using it as leverage for his jump. As it looks now, maybe it is too close and he would've had to leap over that first, which throws the pose off just a bit, My thoughts, I could be off myself. Great job, though; he does really look like he's leaping forward!
